FIGHT NIGHT is back, and taking the brawl to a new home. After seven consecutive sold-out FIGHT NIGHT events,
NSP is moving the one-night-only series to Mayne Stage in Rogers Park for the 2015 season.
Nothing Special Productions is back with the latest installment of FIGHT NIGHT, and this time, it’s MUSICAL!
Fight Night is a prime-time violent cabaret celebrating the art of stage combat through original storytelling and
violence design.A LITTLE FIGHT MUSIC will challenge eight Chicago theater companies to each create a ten-minute
playcombining violence design with musical elements. Returning to the fray alongside NSP are Wayward Productions,
Walkabout Theater, Live Action Theatre, Strangeloop Theatre, and To the Point. First-timers Robert Frosty and
Bare Knuckle Productions are excited to make their mark.
What kind of mayhem ensues when you combine roundhouse kicks with a Rockettes-style kickline,
or when you set a zombie bloodbath to classical music, or when you use questionable Sondheim-inspired puns?
We will find out at A LITTLE FIGHT MUSIC, March 20 at Mayne Stage!
A LITTLE FIGHT MUSIC is on Friday, March 20 at 8:00pm, with an opening set from Real Life
Dinosaurs. Doors open at 7:30pm. Mayne Stage is located at, Chicago, IL
